The great Gatsby (deutsch)

Gespielt von Leonardo di Caprio war die Figur des Gatsbys mit Abstand die Beste.
Noch nie hat mich ein Film wie dieser so zum Nachdenken gebracht.
Gatsby lebte immer mehr in der Vergangenheit als in der Gegenwart.
"Noch nie habe ich einen so hoffnungsvollen Mann gesehn wie ihn." (Nick Carraway)
Noch nie zuvor hat ein Film so mein Herz berührt wie der große Gatsby.
Und mir viel die Frage ein beim Nachdenken über den Film: ob wir vielleicht alle zu wenig hoffen und zu wenig vertrauen und lieben?
Ist Liebe denn der Schlüssel? Ich glaube schon.

Geschichte: Nick Carraway mietet auf Long Island New York ein Haus neben dem gewalitgem Palast des Mr. Gatsbys.
Er hatte Gatsby noch nie gesehen, aber er wusste dass er ihn sah.
Eines Tages bekommt Nick von Gatsby eine Einladung zu einer seiner rauschenden Partys wo in voller Dekadenz gefeiert wird.
Er geht hin, aber wer ist Gatsby?
Bald gibt sie Gatsby zu erkennen und erzählt ihm die Geschichte von Nicks Cousine und ihm.
Er bitte Nick um den Gefallen Daisy zum Tee einzuladen.
Und mit dem Wiedersehen um Daisy und J. Gatsby fängt der Anfang vom Ende des Großen Gatsby an.
Eine Liebesgeschichte wie sie schöner nicht sein könnte.
Doch...nicht immer ist alles schön und gut vor allem wenn es einen Ehemann gibt...


Meine Meinung: Was mich letztendlich ziemlich traurig gemacht hat, dass die Figur des Gatsbys sehr melancholisch rüber kommt und Daisy so leichtfertig mit seinem Tod umgeht.
Dass Niemand zu seiner Beerdigung kommt trieb mir die Tränen in die Augen.

Der Soundtrack zum Film ist ebenfalls gut gelungen, vor allem das Lied "Will you still love me when I am no longer beautiful?" passte so wunderbar zur der Szene dass ich das Weinen wieder anfangen musste.
Mir stellten sich während des Filmes einige Fragen, zB die ob wir nicht alle zu wenig lieben.
Oder zu wenig hoffen.
Einfach wundervoller Film, ich würde ihn für den Oscar vorschlagen  !

The Great Gatsby :

I have watched this movie yesterday and I think I have never seen such a good movie.
Leonardo Di Caprio plays Gatsby wonderfully and the actress who plays Daisy is great.
This movie simply had everything, it made me cry, laugh and it gave me scary feelings.

The story : Nick Carraway is the cousin of Daisy Buchanan and he rents a house on long island New York.
Next to the big house of the misterious Mr. Gatsby.
Nobody really knows him. Or the reason why he is so rich. Or the reason why he gives big parties every weekend.
Gatsby is more liveing in the past than in reality. He thinks of things that has been happened five years ago.
He only thinks of Daisy.
One day he meets Daisy again and that´s the begin of the end.
The begin and end of the great Gatsby.

My opinion:
I would watch this movie another hundred times!
The main actors have played every feeling excellent I would recommend them for the Oscar.
Gatsby is the perfect exampel what love can do with you.
It let´s you forget the time. The rules. The society. The age.
Simply everything and that´s the wonderful thing about love I think.
Will you still love me when I am old?   When I am not pretty anymore?
What made me cry was Lana del Reys voice and how lightley Daisy got on with Gatsbys dead.
And I know I have already told you but every feeling was perfectly almost so real that I even thought it was real.
In our world everything is so fast. Liveing. Loveing.
And thats sad.
I think for Gatsby may liveing was fast. But he only ever loved Daisy. Loveing wasn´t  fast for him.
